Wow! It's great to be back on Miscou Island for DXpedition number 6. It's hard to believe we've been here this many times already. Kevin Carey is back this year after a 2 year sabbatical and we're especially happy that Jacques d'Avignon has returned after a successful year-long battle with cancer. Brent Taylor couldn't make it this time around as he was running in the New Brunswick provincial election for a seat in their legislative assembly. Unfortunatley, we heard earlier this evening that he came in second. However, New Brunswick's loss is our gain because we know Brent will be back!

Niel Wolfish and his freakishly large cranium full of mediumwave knowledge is back again to help the memory-challenged among us remember who is where on the bands. And me? Well, I bring the antennas!

Our antenna setup has evolved over the years as we learn more about what works and what doesn't. For me, trying different antennas is half the fun. This year, after witnessing the great success of last year's first attempt with EWE antennas we're back with three of them, and so far we're pretty happy!
